In May 2019, San Angelo State Park held their Silver Bluebonnet event. My wife and I participated in several of the hikes. Here are five frames.
Dark and Stormy

I love the foreboding look of this shot of some trees. That’s O. C. Fisher Lake in the background. This shot was by Kathryn with processing by John.
Cactusscape

A palm of prickly pear cactus makes a landscape of its own, a cactusscape.
Where Will the Path Take You?

Where will it take you? Take it? Don’t take it? Your choice. This shot was taken by Kathryn with processing by John.
Ohhh! Pretty Flowers

The big yellow one is an Evening Primrose and the smaller white ones are Black-foot Daisies.
Treescape

If that cactus picture can be a cactusscape then this is a treescape. I liked the twists and patterns of the branches in this one. Particularly silhouetted against the cloudy sky.
Bonus Frame
Are You Looking at Me?

Here’s another longhorn. This one is for my brother, David, who liked the last one.
These photos were taken with either a Canon 6D wearing a Canon 24-70mm zoom or a 6DII wearing a Canon 100-400mm zoom. All were processed from RAW files using Darktable, which is free software available for Windoze, Mac, or Linux.
Longhorn in the flowers,,,, best!
